From Breakdown to Breakthrough

Reclaiming My Life — And Helping Others Do the Same

There was a time when everything I had built came crashing down.

My marriage ended. I was left with not a single penny to my name and only the clothes on my back. I found myself back in my mum’s house, trying to piece together what was left of me. It felt like my entire world had shattered overnight.

That break-up didn’t just end a relationship.
It burst my bubble and left me standing in the rubble of what I thought life would be.

What followed was a deep, bone-level fear.
Existential fear.
The kind that makes you question your worth, your future, and even your dreams.

I did what many of us do in such moments — I chose security over soul.
I got a “normal” job. I focused on earning a regular income. I paid the bills.

And in the process, I lost something…
My creativity.
My adventurous spirit.
My sense of purpose.

To the outside world, I looked like I had it all together.
I worked for top-tier investment banks like Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. I was making good money, and by all standards, I was “successful.”

But inside?
I was trapped.
Trapped in a corporate system where I was just a cog in someone else’s profit machine.
Too scared to dream again.
Too afraid to risk another fall.
So I kept my head down.
Wake up. Work. Sleep. Repeat.
Weekends were for partying — not for joy, but to numb the ache of a life unlived.

Everything changed in 2011/2012.

That year, I discovered two transformative tools:
Improvised Comedy and Shamanic Healing.

Comedy gave me back my confidence.
Being on stage, making people laugh — it reminded me of my light, my voice, my spark.

And Shamanic Healing
It brought me home to myself.
It helped me confront the fear that had been running the show for far too long.
It reminded me that healing isn’t just possible — it’s necessary.

With that newfound strength, I made a bold decision:
I went self-employed.

I united healing with laughter. I worked with the elderly. I especially focused on those living with dementia. I helped them reconnect to the joy of the current moment through humour and love.

No, I never made a big corporate pay cheque again.
But I got something much more valuable in return:

  • My joy.
  • My freedom.
  • My inner trust.
  • My purpose.

Too often, we let fear dictate our lives.
Fear keeps us in unfulfilling jobs.
Fear traps us in unhappy relationships.
Fear convinces us that survival is the best we can hope for.

But you deserve more than just “getting by.”

You deserve to thrive.

If any part of my story resonates with you, I want you to know something important. If you’ve ever felt stuck, lost, or disconnected from your purpose, you are not alone.

And more importantly: you don’t have to stay where you are.

I invite you to book a healing session with me.
Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and start the journey of returning to yourself.

Let’s turn your breakdown into a breakthrough.
Let’s reclaim your joy, your purpose, your life.
